Our physicians and staff provide compassionate, state-of-the-art medical and surgical patient care in all areas of adult and pediatric urology.
Urologic Oncology
Renal Tumors: radical, laparoscopic and organ-preserving surgery. Bladder Cancer: transurethral resection of bladder tumors including fluorescence cystoscopy. Radical cycstectomy (nerve-sparing surgery in female and male patients) with continent (i.e. orthotopic ileal neobladder, continent pouches) and incontinent (i.e. conduit) urinary diversions.
Prostate Cancer: radical prostatectomy (potency-preserving), robotic laparoscopy (da Vinci®), LDR-brachytherapy (seedimplantation).
Testicular cancer: radical orchiectomy, testis sparing surgery in selected cases and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection.
Chemotherapy: all standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy protocols for urologic malignancies and additional new drugs within clinical trials.
Reconstructive Urology
Ureteral reconstruction, urinary diversion, urethroplasty (i.e. mucosal graft substitution), hypospadia repair, artificial urinary sphincter, penile prosthesis, laparoscopic reconstructive surgery for ureteropelvic junction obstruction, reconstructive pelvic surgery.
Urogynecology
Surgical treatment of urinary incontinence (i.e. fascial slingplasty, TVT, TOT, Burch colposuspension).
Kidney Stone Disease/Benign Prostate Enlargement (BPE)
Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), semi-rigid and flexible ureteroscopy (URS), percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PNL and Mini- PNL = „keyhole surgery for kidney stones“), intracorporeal laserlithotripsy, open surgery for stone removal, transurethral resection of the prostate, laser-based treatment of BPH .
Pediatric Urology
General pediatric urology, reconstructive surgery of congenital anomalies of the genitourinary tract (hypospadias, cryptorchidism, obstructive uropathies [hydronephrosis], vesicoureteral reflux); management of urinary tract stone disease, endoscopy, laparoscopy.
Andrology and Male Sexual Health
Erectile dysfunction, male sexual dysfunction, infertility, vasectomies, correction of penile deformity, therapy of congenital anomalies (i.e. hypospadia, cryptorchidism).

How to reach the Klinikum rechts der Isar
We recommend taking a cab or public transportation (MVG). Coming from Munich central station please take the underground line U 4/5 to station Max-Weberplatz (main direction Arabellapark/ Neuperlach).
If you prefer taking the car, you will find a limited number of parking lots in front of the main entrance (exempt from charges but almost always occupied) and another chargeable parking lot on the clinic area at the gateway Trogerstraße coming from the direction Einsteinstraße or Ismaninger Straße.
