After the great success of the first workshop on surgical therapy of Peyronie’s disease and erectile dysfunction in 2014, we are pleased to invite you to the 2nd surgical workshop at the Department of Urology at the University Hospital Klinikum rechts der Isar.
The surgical treatment of erectile dysfunction by implantation of a penile prosthesis remains the gold standard in patients with erectile dysfunction not responding to medical therapy. This allows a highly effective and satisfactory restoration of erectile function in affected patients.
Besides, the gold standard for correction of penile deviation in patients with Peyronie’s disease is surgical therapy. There are various surgical techniques available, depending on the symptoms of patients and the extent of penile deviation.
It is our great pleasure to have Prof. Dr. Steven K. Wilson and Dr. Tobias Köhler from the USA at the workshop. Prof. Wilson is the leading prosthetic urologist worldwide having performed more than 11,000 penile implants during 40 years of professional life. Dr. Köhler is one of the most successful prosthetic urologists in the USA and leading scientifi c chairman in various academic and scientifi c societies related to sexual medicine.
Our interactive workshop will offer a unique opportunity to experience live surgeries and to learn from wellknown high-volume surgeons. You can actively join the operating room and discuss with the surgeons before, during and after the operations regarding specific diseases and surgical techniques.
